Elizabeth Rumi D Costa: Director Dhaka, Bangladesh
Elizabeth D. Costa has over eight years’ experience working on international and domestic media projects as director, assistant producer, editor and translator. She has worked for BBC Media Action, Vice News UK, Spanish Television, Bloomberg TV, Big Blue Communications and Tareuqe Masud Memorial Trust (TMMT). She was the local producer for academy award winner documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy on her feature length documentary on Woman UN Peacekeepers ‘A Journey of Thousand Miles’. She is currently working as a Communication Advisor with UNDP Bangladesh.
In Sync Media is an established documentary and digital media production company who have been creating award winning documentaries with a special focus on issues relating to women and children. Founder Lalita Krishna is an early adopter of digital media and her collaborative projects are used for impact campaigns to enhance and extend the documentary viewing experience.
The Surf Girls of Cox's Bazar is scheduled to start production in the Spring of 2017 and will be ready for release in the Fall of 2018.
